Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province today, known as Chang’an in ancient China, was the capital of 13 dynasties from the 11th century B.C. to the mid-10th century A.D. for one thousand and sixty two years. It has a great number of precious relics and historical sites left to us today, represented by the Qin Shihuang’s terra cotta warriors and horses, which have been appreciated as the natural museum of history and an epitome of 5000-year history of China.
