Cockatoo Island is a historical site situated at the centre of Sydney Harbour. From a convict prison to the country’s ship building centre, and now a tourist attraction and event venue, it reflects the history of Sydney in the last 180 years. The upcoming “Sydney: Stories and Histories” walking tour will be held on the island on Sunday, 07 February.

The walk will start at 10:10am in front of the visitor centre on the island. The island can be reached by Sydney Ferry Service F3 and F8 from Circular Quay, or F3 from ferry wharfs along Parramatta River. The tour will conclude on the island at around 12:45pm, and the rest of the day is at your own arrangement.
